ROBUST MACHINES & EQUIPMENT FOR DEMANDING ENVIRONMENTS

Struggling to choose the right machine for your environment?
Not sure which machine is best for your location? Confused by the differences between brands and which one will work in your specific conditions?
Did you know that flying technicians from Europe can cost around $10,000 per trip—including spare parts? No one in their right mind will pay that just to fix or service a machine!
That's where we come in. We help you choose machines that you can maintain and repair yourself—no costly international service calls needed.
And it’s not just about the upfront cost. What’s the real total cost of ownership? In your environment, over the next 12 months, it’s a completely different equation than in Europe or South Africa.
We help you do the math and make smart decisions, so you get equipment that makes sense for your business—without the financial headaches.
Let’s bring some sanity to the process.

HOW IT WORKS

Our Story

I’ve been in the meat industry for over 20 years—seven of those in Nigeria. During this time, I’ve seen how second-hand equipment suppliers from Europe often dump completely inappropriate machines into African operations—ill-suited for the climate, power infrastructure, available technical support, or the products being made.

I’ve experienced the frustration of sourcing spare parts—where European suppliers insist you go through elaborate, protected supply chains, with unimaginable markups, often 3–5 times the actual cost.

In Nigeria, I saw how poorly trained local technicians struggled with overly complicated, high-maintenance machinery, and how European suppliers exploited this by charging huge amounts to send technicians out for even basic service calls.

Even South African suppliers and service providers often took a purely transactional approach, with no long-term relationship mindset. Machines were sold based on which brands the local spice company represented, or which high-margin units the sales team had targets for—not based on what was right for the client.

All of this motivated us to start ReequipAfrica—to merge the best of meat science and functional, appropriate technology with a sane, honest, and thought-through approach to equipment supply.

No agencies. No kickbacks. No upselling.
Just fit-for-purpose equipment based on your actual needs and what makes the most sense from a Total Cost of Ownership perspective.

We Sell What You Need—Not What’s Flashiest

  • Our goal is not to sell the most expensive or most technologically complex machines. We sell what is:

    • Needed for your specific context

    • Capable of delivering your production goals

    • Appropriate for your environment

    • Lowest in Total Cost of Ownership over time

  • We value performance, practicality, and local serviceability above all else.

Important Considerations

  • Always inspect used machines before purchase:
You should personally verify that second-hand equipment is working with raw materials before buying. Nothing replaces seeing a machine in action.

  • Match your equipment to your setting:

    • For remote areas, choose machines that are elemental, rugged, and repairable using locally sourced parts.

    • If your location suffers from unstable electricity, select systems that can tolerate interruptions and include UPS units to protect against damage and downtime.

What We Sell

  • Fully Reconditioned Machines
We only sell second-hand machines that have been completely restored, reconditioned, and fully serviced, ensuring reliable, long-term performance.

  • From Two Reputable Partners Only
Our machines are sourced exclusively from:

  • A trusted refurbishing operation in Cape Town, South Africa

  • A highly reputable equipment supplier in Austria

  • New Equipment Designed for African Conditions
We also offer selected new machines that are specifically designed for the African market—robust, practical, and easy to maintain without relying on delicate or unnecessary high-tech features.

Spare Parts Supply—Without the Markups

  • We supply spare parts for any make or model, whether or not there are official agents in your country.

  • Many local agents operate under exclusive agreements with European suppliers, leading to inflated prices and limited access.

  • We bypass this through efficient logistics, managed courier costs, and export VAT handling—delivering direct, lowest-possible pricing to your door without the markup.

We Combine Meat Science with Equipment Expertise

  • At ReequipAfrica, we don’t just sell machines—we help you design success.

  • We begin with a needs analysis rooted in practical meat science:

  • What do you want to produce?

  • What quality do you need?

  • What ingredients and inputs are available in your region?

  • What are your production volumes now—and in the future?

  • Based on your answers, we help you select the exact machine that will deliver the performance you need with the best possible return on investment.
This ensures that the equipment you buy is not only appropriate but technically aligned with your specific production goals.

Our Philosophy: Total Cost of Ownership

The smartest equipment decision is based on Total Cost of Ownership (TCO)—not just the price tag.

Key principles:

  • Every quote should include:

    • Critical spare parts

    • Installation and commissioning

    • The one-month Austria-based training option for your technicians, ensuring full local servicing capability

    • Follow-up support for troubleshooting and performance optimisation

  • We include the training cost in our quote, so your team can maintain the equipment from day one—no need to pay for outside technicians later.

  • Equipment should match current production and allow for scalable growth, but it should not be so oversized that it takes years to justify.

  • Avoid letting equipment or spice suppliers design your factory. Let your production strategy drive equipment choices—not the other way around.
